Maximizing the Mind

OK so last night was all about the body so naturally tonight should be all about the mind. So here's some tips on exercise the mind.

First reading is one of the most powerful things you could do to stimulate your mind. It is a proven statistic that the person who reads at least 30 minute a day sets themselves apart from the average Joe. The person who read's everyday are the one's who reach a greater level of success than the person who doesn't. So I ask you are just another average Joe or are you something more? Not only does it fill you with knowledge it can also bring you closer to such a powerful form of connection. I know that instead of getting on the phone to talk about negative gossip I would rather fill myself up with information that is going to leave me feeling more fulfill and armed with information that can honest and truly make a difference in my life as well as those I connect and come in contact with.

Each time you exercise your mind just like a muscle it expands and gets stronger. It is said that where attention goes energy flows and that certainly holds true here. Again by choosing to read material that can change your life you can virtually change your limited beliefs. Most of us travel through life on auto pilot never questioning where some of our behaviours and thoughts come from. Let's face it we don't know what we don't know. The only way to find out is to explore. Exploring through reading is a incredible journey and can often lead you to Peace.

I can honestly tell you that through books I have been able to completely change my life. It has connected me with such incredible guru's. The remarkable thing is that when you get into the Self-Help books you really begin to see why birds of a feather flock together. Eagle's fly with Eagle's, while turkeys hang out pecking each other.

We get one crack at life so why not expand and fly? Yes it takes work but once you get started and you really read some good stuff you'll be thirsty for more. Remember staying hydrated is what keeps the metabolism burning and muscle tone. Pick up that book and just get reading.

Enjoy Life and Cherish the Journey
